Dear friends,
KL Meet up group has organised a simple Movie Treat event for the children who stays at the homes. Participants can become a big bro or sis for a few hours for one or two children, accompanying them to the cinema. Expected cost is RM20 per participant and RM20 per child. So each participant pays RM40. For sponsors-only, it's RM20 per child sponsored.
Do join us, as participant, sponsor-only or assistant organizers on 26th Sep 09, Saturday. Time: 2.15pm
Do tell your friends about this event so they can spend time making an ever lasting memory for a child.

About the Movie Treat
KL Meet up group has received endorsement from Lions Club of Cybercare Kuala Lumpur for this Movie Treat event. With the endorsement, it means they can manage this event more professionally. Participants don’t have to worry about how their money is used. The cashbook will be published publicly. Refunds are returned to participants when the event is cancelled, etc.

We go to the cinema to watch a movie any time we want. Do you know that this is a privilege to some people? Children who stay in the homes may not have the opportunity to visit a cinema which their friends always talked about in school. They may not have enjoyed a full cup of Coca Cola before. They also wish someone cares for them.
It would be such a warm feeling for a child in a home, just to know someone think of them, and maybe take them out for a movie, like a big brother, big sister or parent.
